Owen Gallot & Ellen Florence Philpott
Owen was born on March 23 1897
Owen signed up and served in World War I. In June 1916, Owen was wounded at
the battle of Messines and sent home.
On the 27th of October 1921, Owen married Ellen Florence Philpott and went
on to have two daughters, Helen and Mirriam.
Owen died on 27 December 1979, at his home at 2/611 Manukau Rd, and was
cremated at Purewa cemetery on the 29th of December. Ellen continued to live
at this address until her death, and was also cremated at Purewa cemetery,
on 11 April 1985.
