David Gallot

David is the son of Winston and Sylvia Gallot.

After attending Westlake Boys Highschool in Auckland, NZ, David completed three years of a B.E. degree at the University of Auckland, in chemicals and materials, when he had doubts about his choice of career. After several unrelated jobs in New Zealand, he moved to South Australia, where in a four-year course he graduated B.Ag.Sc in Viticulture from Adelaide University.  During this time David was the inaugural winner of the McLaren Vale Vine Improvement Scholarship.

Following graduation, he had 18 months in the Coonawarra district, working for the well-known Olando Wyndham Winemaking Company, and then decided to return to New Zealand. He is now engaged in the manufacture and packaging of natural health products, and is Production Manager of Zenith Corporation Ltd, based on the North Shore.
