Annie Gallot and Jock SimpsonAnnie was the rebel of the family. She didn't always see eye-to-eye with Jim or Pearl and was always out on the town when she was living at home. She loved dancing and socialising. Annie worked in Pisarro's cigar factory in Wakefield St, then after her husband died, in the Farmers Tearooms. She first lived in New North Rd then Randolf St off Newton Rd, then off St Marys Rd. After leaving home, Annie married Jock Simpson and had two children, John and Marie. Jock died when he was 42 from emphysema and asthma. Annie continued to work at Farmers and died in September 1994.
